What People Say After Finishing
Feedback from working adults in Malaysia who studied with us — their experience, what they built, and where they went next.

Siti Fatimah Binti Razak
Bank officer · Petaling Jaya
"I work full-time and was worried I would fall behind. The clinic sessions helped a lot — being able to ask questions live rather than posting in a forum made a real difference. By week four I was writing Python I actually understood rather than copying from tutorials."
AI Foundations · May 2025
Rajes Anandarajan
Software engineer · Shah Alam
"I had done a couple of free online courses before but never finished a proper project. The ML Practice track pushed me to complete two — and the feedback on both was specific enough to actually change how I approached the second one. The peer channel was more active than I expected, too."

Lim Hui Ling
Data analyst · Kuala Lumpur
"The Deep Learning track was exactly what I needed. I had been doing data work for a few years and understood ML basics, but neural networks felt like a different category of difficult. The lattice layout made it less overwhelming — I could see where each session was taking me."

Muhammad Hafizuddin
Admin executive · Subang Jaya
"I was completely new to coding. The AI Foundations track did not make me feel behind. The weekly clinic was where I asked questions I was too shy to ask in the main session. By the end I had a working project I built myself, which I honestly did not think was possible at the start."

Yap Shu Fen
Product manager · Damansara
"The ML Practice track gave me two real projects I could talk through in interviews. Not toy examples — actual datasets with messy data, decisions to make, tradeoffs to explain. That has been more useful in job conversations than any certificate I could have shown."

Nurul Ain Zulkepli
IT support specialist · Klang
"I came in with some Python background but no ML knowledge. The cross-link notes between sections were something I had not seen in other courses — they saved me from making connections that I would have missed and only realised much later. The instructor feedback on my project was long and useful."

Learner Journeys in Detail
Tan Khai Shen
Logistics coordinator · Port Klang
Challenge
Khai had no coding background but was asked by his manager to explore whether route optimisation in their logistics network could be improved using data. He did not know where to start.
Approach
He completed AI Foundations in May 2025, then moved into ML Practice. By the end of the second track he had trained a regression model on their delivery time data as his second project.
Result
The project became the basis of an internal presentation. The company allocated budget for further data work. Khai was given responsibility for coordinating the initiative.
"The clinic sessions in AI Foundations gave me enough confidence to keep going. Without a structured place to ask questions, I would have stopped after week two."
Amirul Haziq Mahmood
Backend developer · Cyberjaya
Challenge
Amirul wanted to move from backend work into a role involving ML systems. He had self-studied ML basics but found neural networks hard to get into through documentation alone.
Approach
He joined the Deep Learning Framework cohort in February 2025. His capstone project was a text classification system built in PyTorch, deployed as a simple REST API.
Result
He used the capstone as the centrepiece of job applications. Within six weeks of completing the track he had accepted a role at a local SaaS company working on their ML pipeline.
"The lattice structure was the thing that helped me most. I always knew what I was learning and why it was in that position in the course."
